Speech Therapist

 

Speech language pathologist assesses the patient for any speech, language, and cognitive communication impairment. Skilled interventions include problem solving, memory, and organization, oral muscle strengthening, breathing exercises, social compensation tactics and other activities geared at improving cognitive communication.
Our Speech therapists evaluate each patient to identify different speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders and then create and implement a medically appriopate and individualized plan of care. Speech impairments may arise secondary to a stroke, head injury, or neurological disease, our Speech therapist will be able to assist with speech sound production, language, word finding, and cognitive difficulties, including problems with short-term memory, organization, and planning.
